“How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify your conscience from dead works to serve the living God !” Hebrews 9:14

Jesus could say to Peter, “It is not the blood that gave you this revelation, but my Father…” thus revealing the ability of blood to give erroneous revelations that will lead you astray.

Don’t forget, kindness begins with receiving.

While the Water Birth aims to let the cleansing and nourishing water act through the thirst for Christ and repentance, the Blood Birth, the second witness, aims to remove sin from you through the purification of your conscience.

Unlike the forgiveness of sins marked by the Water Baptism, which happens automatically, the work of the Blood operates throughout the Christian life by destroying the root of sin. Since the soul is in the blood, the blood of Jesus will bring about a profound change in your soul; it will also play a role in protecting you from the works of the devil and granting you access to the Father without accusation.

The Blood also gives you a deeply dependent and humble heart before God. If Water erases sin, Blood removes sin. The forgiveness of sin has always occurred; it involves forgiving your actions because you regret them and want to abandon them. But despite this, some addictions may persist, some ties leading you to sin may remain; that’s where the Blood comes in to purify your conscience from evil.

God’s mercies are given and renewed every morning. But your emotional states can prevent you from seeing them: your anger, impatience, laziness, forgetfulness, shyness, etc., can easily connect you to certain carnal or demonic frequencies. Thus, whoever lets the sun set on their anger gives access to the Devil. That’s why you must always carry your cross.

This element of the New Birth is often the missing piece that makes Christians blind to the things of the Spirit.
