Many have turned away from God. Do you know why? Because they were not taught correctly. So, they built their hope on fables. They based their expectations on unrealistic, unscriptural ideas. Thus, when those expectations failed, they concluded that God was not real.

That’s why many people need to leave the pulpit. God will cleanse His pulpit in these last days. Deception is too prevalent in the pulpit, and people are building their faith on sand. Their faith is not built on the solid rock, the truth of God’s Word. So, when storms, floods, and waters came, the house collapsed. Why? It was not built on the rock.

Piety means doing things God’s way. Look at Jesus, who is our perfect example. How did He live His life? How did He minister? How did He respond to anything? Then follow in His footsteps.

Believe in the impossible, speak to mountains. If you do not walk by faith, you cannot please God. You must consciously believe that things impossible for humans are possible for God. You are not afraid because perfect love casts out fear. You cannot be offended because God’s love is active. His love burns like a volcano.

The passion of God’s love burns in your heart. So, when the virus of offense arrives, it burns it away. When anger arrives, it exhausts it. When depression arrives, it consumes it. When rejection arrives, it consumes it. When jealousy arises, it exhausts it. You are able to endure temptation without wavering, convinced that things will change.

“You therefore endure hardships, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” 2 Timothy 2:3

Be patient when things are not going well. Do not change. Do not compromise your faith. Do not do something wrong to change your story, and then come to church and say hallelujah, my story has changed. Yet you corrupted it. You were not patient. Ishmael can never be Isaac. The real promise was that Isaac would surely come from Sarah’s womb.

So, your impatience could lead you to marry the wrong husband or wife. And then you suffer with Ishmael for the rest of your life. Identify the things that could prevent you from waging war effectively in the spirit.

Then submit them to the careful scrutiny of God’s Word, patiently fight with the Scriptures, and your victory will burst forth…
