When it comes to matters of prayer, the flesh is always weak. The mystery of prayer lies beyond the reach of the flesh. Jesus revealed to us that the greatest limitation and insufficiency in prayer is the flesh. In all aspects of prayer, the flesh will continually be weak.

The flesh is weak in prayer because it knows that when prayer rises, the fire of the Most High prevails. When prayer rises, destinies are transformed. When prayer rises, the devil’s plans are disrupted.

We are not victims of satanic agendas. Many have died from the coronavirus; it was a satanic scheme. We are not victims of satanic conspiracies, plans, or schemes. Through prayer, we alter the devil’s plans against our lives and families.

We do not pray because we feel like praying. We do not pray because prayer is as sweet as honey. We pray because we seek communion with the Father. We pray because we understand the dimensions of prayer. We pray because Jesus commanded us to pray. We pray because we know the power of prayer. Jesus told His disciples:

Watch and pray, so that you do not enter into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41

He knew that through prayer, the devil’s satellites could be destroyed. The language of prayer is continuously misunderstood by the flesh. Expecting the flesh to provide you with the strength to pray would be the greatest mistake anyone could make in life. The flesh rejects the desire to pray.

We pray when we tune into the frequency of revealed knowledge found in Christ’s written epistles. Jesus commands us to pray because we know that the only way to undo all of Satan’s activities and projections against us and our families is through prayer.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-4

Prayer is for the spirit. If you struggle to pray, it means you have not yet grasped your spiritual nature. Prayer is not for the flesh. Jesus said that the flesh is weak, but the spirit is willing. When a man prays, that is when the spirit expresses itself through this earthen vessel. We are not afraid of the devil’s weapons. We are not afraid of our enemies because as soon as we lift up the authority of Jesus’ name, all weapons formed against us and our families will collapse. Jesus is not concerned with the devil’s plots. He knows that before ascending to heaven, He gave us His name.

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;” Mark 16:17

No matter the rank of the devil; all demonic powers and authorities are eternally subject to the authority of Jesus’ name.

Tragedies occur because people are weak in prayer. People are strong in everything else, but when it comes to prayer, they grow tired. Our enemies are not merely physical; they are spiritual beings. Jesus taught His disciples that our enemies include demons from the ranks of scorpions, serpents, and spiritual wickedness. He gave us power against the forces of the devil.

Why do we give in to the weakness of the flesh? Why have you allowed the flesh to govern you? Don’t you know that your decisions rule over you? It’s your decision to either give in to the weakness of the flesh and refrain from praying or to give in to the spirit’s will and engage in the spiritual realms.

You are not weak because the flesh is weak. You lack desire because the spirit lacks desire. When you do not pray, you have accepted the weakness of the flesh over the spirit’s promptings. There are two energies, two powers waiting for your consent: the weakness of the flesh and the strength and will of the spirit.

When a man says “yes” to the spirit’s will, the Holy Spirit supplies him with the energy of God. When he consents to the flesh’s weakness, the flesh provides him with weakness. Weakness is a kind of power that leads a person not to pray and not to engage spiritually.

Until Jesus returns, I will not stop praying. I will not stop standing apart for my generation. I will not let the devil take over the city. I will not let the devil rule this country or dominate nations. God did not send His only Son to die just for the Church; He died for the world.

Pray for the world, pray for sinners, because God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. When you enter the kingdom of His love, that is when the spirit of intercession fills a person. Jesus said,

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment and cast lots.” Luke 23:34

We are in a war against spirits. You must engage your spirit. Even at funerals, a part of you knows that when a person dies, they depart. You are not flesh; you are spirit. When you realize that you must become blind to the flesh to see into the spirit, then the fullness of God will descend upon you. Then you will truly pray in the spirit, grasp the depths of the spirit, and walk according to what you see and hear in the realms. This is reality…
