WATCH AND PRAY (IN THE PROPHETIC).
This tip may seem amusing to some, as we are used to praying with our eyes closed. However, the Bible supports all prayer positions: praying on our knees, standing, face to the ground, eyes lifted, eyes open, and eyes closed, etc.
Indeed, it is important to understand that no position is superior to another. Each one channels a different source of energy because it embodies its own particularity, its own meaning, and its own power of attraction. For example, when praying face down, it is an expression of total surrender to God and worship. Its attractive force invites the establishment of God’s reign and divine intervention (Joshua 5:14, 2 Chronicles 7:3).
Thus, all kinds of prayers are important in a prophet’s intimacy, but this is outside the prophetic service. A prophet may pray with closed eyes in his room to strengthen his imagination; however, when he enters his place of service, he must pray while fixing his eyes on everything that moves. One of the things that limits the opening of the prophetic spirit in a prophet during the prophetic service is his inability to look at his prophetic target. He is like an eagle dwelling in the mountains, soaring at altitudes where no being can breathe. From such heights, he fixes his gaze on his target on earth.
In 2 Kings 8:11, it is written: “The man of God fixed his gaze on Hazael, staring at him for a long time, and then he wept. Hazael said: Why is my lord weeping? And Elisha answered: Because I know the harm you will do to the children of Israel.”
From this experience, we see that the prophet’s gaze serves as an antenna, enabling the connection between his prophetic spirit and the people around him. By fixing his gaze on Hazael, Elisha was downloading information about him and began speaking of his future.
Watching and praying generate an attractive force that allows the prophet to explore the future of his prophetic target during the service. This is why we advise those with a prophetic spirit not to neglect this tip, for watching and praying is like activating the Bluetooth of your phone to receive data from another phone.
Pray this before going to the service:
God of the spirits of the prophets!
You, the source of all knowledge!
You are called Atta El Roï, You who can see even into the depths of the abyss!
You penetrate the hearts of men to know their most hidden thoughts!
Your eyes, O Eternal One, scan the earth, for every man is laid bare before You!
To You who hold the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars!
Jesus Christ, the Lamb with seven horns and seven eyes!
The One who holds the Key of David!
Sovereign High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek, in the priesthood where I am established as a prophet!
Unfold upon me a great capacity for the vision of eagles!
Let me pierce the hearts of people with just my gaze!
May the anointing of Elisha be upon me!
And may my physical eyes become a source of attractive energy, allowing me to draw information related to the destiny of those under my gaze!
May all be for Your glory, Jesus Christ, the faithful witness!
Your testimony is the spirit of prophecy, Sovereign High Priest Melchizedek!
Amen!
