WHAT COULD STEAL YOUR DESTINY.
To fulfill your destiny, you need finances. Whether it’s launching a ministry, starting a business, pursuing education, undergoing training, going on a mission, or realizing any other project that allows your destiny to unfold, financial resources are essential. The good news is that God has already reserved everything necessary for His plans to be fulfilled in your life.
“And He said to them, ‘When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything?’ So they said, ‘Nothing.’” Luke 22:35
In this passage, Jesus teaches His disciples that when they walk in obedience to the divine plan—in other words, when they are where God wants them to be—there will always be the necessary provision. So why do so many people seem to struggle financially on the path to their destiny?
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:31-33
What might deprive you and leave you without resources is not necessarily the absence of them but rather poor management of what you have. Jesus explains here that for many, the issue lies in the primary concern for food, clothing, and shelter. It is this priority that explains why so many people stray from the divine path.
We focus first on our material needs, sometimes even beyond our actual needs, which can lead us away from the path intended for our destiny. For example, we might find ourselves stuck in a job that doesn’t suit us or trapped by debt, preventing us from fully entering God’s plan. What Jesus teaches here is to prioritize the Kingdom of God.
This means being where God places us, pursuing God’s priorities first, doing what He calls us to do, and then “all these things” that are necessary will be “added to you.”
