What sows chaos in cells (fatal blows to cells).
These factors will kill cell groups. These are FATAL BLOWS to cells. What are these factors of death?
The killers of the cell system
- Complacency
Do not have a sense of achievement or satisfaction.
This will result in some lukewarmness. When you become lukewarm, you will lose the dynamism, energy, and enthusiasm you had for building the cell system. This will be a powerful prescription for the destruction of your cells. Your cell system will begin to collapse.
“So, let the one who thinks he is standing be careful that he does not fall !” 1 Corinthians 10:12
- Lack of an effective tracking system.
Without this, you will not know exactly what is happening with your cells. You will easily be deceived about the state, quality, and quantity of cells.
“After a long time, the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them.” Matthew 25:19
“So, let the one who thinks he is standing be careful that he does not fall!” 1 Corinthians 10:12
Without a monitoring system, you will not know when bad seeds are sown in your cells. Bad seeds of lies about attendance at cell meetings, exaggerations of the state of cells, abandonment of cells without your knowledge, and so on.
“He presented another parable to them, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the weeds also appeared. The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’ And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’ The slaves said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?‘” Matthew 13:24-28
- Lack of deep understanding of the cell system by the pastor.
This may be the biggest cell killer. This means you are blind, and how can you lead others to great spiritual fruitfulness?
“Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind person guides a blind person, both will fall into a pit.” Matthew 15:14
You, your cell leaders, and the cells themselves will fall into the ditch if you really don’t understand what you are doing.
- Putting new wine into old wineskins (Matthew 9:17)
This happens when the cell pastor manages new cells with old shepherds or sends newly trained cell leaders to manage old cells instead of creating new cells.
“Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wineskins burst, and the wine pours out and the wineskins are ruined; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.” Matthew 9:17
- The cell pastor has not shown flexibility in the functioning of the cells.
- Immorality of cell leaders.
This just destroys the very foundations of your cell ministry. And so the cells cannot stand…
