So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us… 2 Corinthians 5:20

The new birth makes you an ambassador from heaven. As a representative of Christ, you are called to bear witness of Him on this earth. An ambassador is a mediator between two countries – his own country and the one to which he is sent. Similarly, the believer reconciles the world to God. Because of this mission, you enjoy the immunity of the kingdom you represent, just as in the case of an earthly ambassador. Therefore, you cannot be treated with disrespect.

No deaf or mute person is called to be an ambassador of their country. So why should a born-again child of God be blind, deaf, mute, or have any form of infirmity? This is foreign to their nature and does not prove their supernaturalism. As an ambassador, you are eligible for protection, authority, and heavenly provisions. You should live in health and prosperity because there is no sickness or poverty where you come from!

When I came to Jesus (being born again), I was afflicted with tuberculosis. I had undergone various medical treatments in vain. But after my new birth, I embarked on an adventure through the four Gospels. I read them repeatedly, to the point of being saturated with all the miracles performed by Jesus. As I read, a holy anger arose within me. Then I came to Him and said, “Lord Jesus, if it is true that You performed all these miracles, if they did not lie about You, then heal me today.” I held on to Him.

I was supposed to be His representative on earth, and I couldn’t do that effectively with tuberculosis. I stayed with Him that night, and I was set free. I have been free for over three decades now! Tuberculosis went away with no hope of returning. Imagine what it would have been like if I still had it today as a preacher! Who could have been saved?

You are an ambassador for Christ, which means that heaven can now trust you to represent it effectively on earth. This also means that each of your actions and every step you take must prove who you are. What is not allowed in heaven should not be found in you.

Wouldn’t it make headlines if an ambassador were involved in a brawl or found in a brothel? Moreover, ambassadors enjoy comfort proportionate to the wealth of the country they represent.

The poverty or wealth of the country they represent naturally follows them wherever they go. Heaven is very wealthy. Thus, as an ambassador of heaven, you must enjoy and reflect all the wealth of heaven.
