Detach yourself from the titles and consider the essence.
A while ago, I was reflecting on this passage from the Scriptures (Matthew 22:30):
“For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.“
The world we live in has conditioned us to the point where most of us have lost sight of what is truly essential in favor of the superfluous. Currently, we are more attached to titles than to taking on the responsibilities associated with those titles. We compare ourselves to see who is the best in this or that field, and therein lies the problem. Because when you really think about it, do we need to compare anything, to disdain one job in favor of another? I don’t think so.
And isn’t what everyone does in society also important for the community? But when all reference points are lost, I think it is essential to go back to the source of all things, namely God. God is another subject that has been debated for centuries, but we are not here for that debate. God is represented in the Bible in His trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Upon closer examination, that’s where the relationship comes in. You see, they are all three God and united in everything for the same vision, and no one considers the position of the other as superior or inferior, for that is meaningless and devoid of essence. On one hand, we have God the Father, the one we represent on the throne, the Supreme Judge, the omniscient, the omnipotent… Then we have God the Son, who is currently at the right hand of the Father, the Glorified human being, and finally, we have the Holy Spirit, the breath of God.
In reality, it is one person, but in three dimensions. The Holy Spirit is called the breath of God, and Jesus (God the Son) is called the word of God. The three dimensions are necessary for the accomplishment of specific things, but at the same time, they are united. For now, these are just thoughts expressed, because it is up there that we will truly know them as they are. Considering all this, I think we should all understand that every occupation is necessary for the advancement of society, from the street sweeper to the president of the republic. Therefore, we should all consider the responsibilities associated with our positions to fulfill our functions in society.
Furthermore, I believe that the kingdom of heaven is the only kingdom where all children work in different layers of society, one as a general, another as a cook, another as a sweeper, another as a sewer worker, another as a musician, and another as a cleaner. But in any case, no one is superior to anyone else, for I am sure that everyone will find themselves at the same table for dinner in the evening. In my opinion, this is what the kingdom of heaven is: a kingdom where we appreciate the work of others, no matter what it entails, for the advancement of society or, should I say, the kingdom.
So be at peace, all of you who read me, for I assure you that you are valuable and have potential, no matter what work you do for society. Be joyful also in what you do, for without your personal touch, the world would not be what it is today. Perhaps we should consider establishing a law on the common good and work that entitles everyone to the same remuneration in society, so that there is no feeling of superiority and everyone works together to achieve a common goal.
To set up a functioning system, it is necessary first and foremost for each country to have a school that studies the abilities of each student without insults or disdain, and that guides them to find what they are most suited for. Because no one is there by chance, everyone has a specific mission, a mandate, and knowledge that society greatly needs to evolve.
Also, let all schools teach sign language. This way, the deaf and mute will no longer feel handicapped. Include in education the learning of the 7 official languages of Africa to promote mixing and allow each individual to find employment in regional and international markets. That is my thought…
