“For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.” Romans 8:19

This refers to those who, through a genuine understanding of their divine nature, will be able to act as God on this earth. Such individuals will be capable of exercising total control over all matters of life, bringing deliverance to many. They will think, speak, and live under the banner of dominion, where all things respond to them. Things will happen as they desire, according to the Word of God.

“Now I say, as long as the heir is a child, he does not differ at all from a slave although he is owner of everything, but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by the father.” Galatians 4:1-2

At the new birth, you enter the kingdom as a child (Isaiah 9:6), with the potential to become a son. This seed of a child implanted at the moment of the new birth must undergo the usual process of growth in order to become mature and become a son. A child is born, but a son is given. Even Jesus had to grow. “And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” Luke 2:52

Many Christians continue to be robbed and deceived by the devil and his agents simply because their victims refuse to grow. They choose to remain babies, still feeding on milk (1 Peter 2:2). The fact that you are born again does not automatically give you access to your inheritance in the kingdom of God, your Father. You must grow through knowledge and spiritual exercises such as fasting, prayer, etc. As long as you refuse to grow, you will continue to live as a servant, not tasting the vast portion of your inheritance in Christ. Your status as a son is the backbone of your life in the supernatural.

It is what enables you to walk in the realm of the supernatural, where you can possess your possessions. The cardinal mark of your status as a son is the power to reign, the power to exercise authority. As I said earlier, there are many in the church today who, though born again, have barely anything to show concerning their Christianity. They are barely different from the rest of the world. They are subject to all the attacks and intimidations of the devil. They are led by fear, diseases, plagues, poverty, and lack, just like the rest of the world.

The truth, however, is that they are more victims of ignorance than anything else. Jesus is the Model Son. He is our perfect example. And as the Father sent Him, He has also sent you. Everything that Jesus manifested as a son should be accessible to you too. You must take charge and be in control of the affairs of life because at the new birth, you have taken possession of power as an inheritance. Salvation takes you out of the realm of weaknesses into that of power.

1 Corinthians 1:24 tells us that Christ is the Wisdom and Power of God. So if Christ lives in us, then the all-power of God also resides within us. This is a covenant position guaranteeing triumph. Ephesians 2:6 tells us:

“And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.”

Being seated with Him refers to enthronement. The new birth gives you the power to access the throne. Your future is not certain without the power of God at work within you. Acts 10:38 tells us:

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil because God was with him.“

This power is real, and it works!
