To fully enjoy God’s goodness and receive the physical healing He has destined for you, one of the most important steps is to know that the age of miracles is not over, and that healing of the body is still part of Christ’s ministry today.

In Bible times, the sick were healed, the blind received sight, the deaf could hear, the crippled walked, the lepers were cleansed; all the sick were healed by the power of God. Today, as always, these miracles are for the Church.

There are five fundamental reasons that confirm this to us:

1. God is the one who heals (Ex. 15:26), and He has never changed: I am the Lord, I do not change (Mal. 3:6).
2. Jesus Christ healed the sick (Matt. 9:35; Mark 6:55-56; Acts 10:38), and He has never changed: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Heb. 13:8).
3. Jesus commanded His disciples to heal the sick (Matt. 10:1-7; Luke 10:1,9). A true disciple of Christ must be like the first disciples: If you continue in my word, then you are truly my disciples (John 8:31).
4. Miracles of healing occurred everywhere during the ministry of the early Church (Acts 3:6; 4:30; 5:12; 6:8; 8:6; 14:3, 9-10; 19:11-12; Heb. 2:4), and the true Church has obviously never changed. The life and ministry of the apostles serve as an example and model for the true Church until the end of the world (Matt. 28:20).
5. Jesus authorized all believers, from all nations, until the end of the world, to lay hands on the sick, and He promised: The sick will be healed (Mark 16:15-18). It goes without saying that true believers have not changed. Jesus said: Whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing (John 14:12).

The first to dispense divine healing was the Lord God. Then it was manifested through His Son, Jesus Christ; then came His disciples, followed by the early Church, and finally, all believers across the world. Therefore, the era of miracles is far from over, and physical healing must continue to be part of Christ’s ministry. What He has done for tens of thousands of others, He wants to do for you…
