Background:

It is important for a nation to have leaders who understand the needs of the people and work towards resolving them. The selection of such quality individuals is not solely based on persuasive speeches of wisdom as in an electoral campaign, but also by taking the time to talk to God about it. Therefore, it is imperative for a nation that seeks leaders who listen to pray to God on behalf of its parliamentarians, so that God may select individuals who can meet the needs of the people.

Prayer Topics:

304. Let us give thanks to God for allowing the integration of an institution to defend the interests of the population in the structuring of public power in our country.
305. Let us pray that parliamentarians vote for impersonal laws to avoid turmoil and clashes between policies and the population in the name of Jesus Christ.
306. Let us ask God to assist parliamentarians in voting for laws that take into account the general interest of the country in the name of Jesus Christ.
307. Let us pray for God to assist parliamentarians in ratifying agreements in favor of our Nation in the name of Jesus Christ.
308. Let us ask God that the people’s representatives initiate parliamentary inquiries with integrity to fight against corruption and embezzlement of public funds in the name of Jesus Christ.
309. Let us pray that the relationships between deputies are based on love and mutual respect in the name of Jesus Christ.
310. Let us pray that the voice of the minority and women is taken into account in law voting in the name of Jesus Christ.
311. Let us pray that deputies also consider the complaints of the rural population in the name of Jesus Christ.
312. Let us pray for the parliament to vote on the country’s budget integrating the major concerns of the population in all sectors of social and economic life in the name of Jesus Christ.

Proclamation:

313. We declare that parliament works for the prosperity of our Nation by ratifying agreements in favor of our nation in the name of Jesus Christ.
314. We declare that deputies are involved in the fight against corruption by being incorruptible themselves in the name of Jesus Christ.
315. We declare that parliament votes for impersonal laws for the maintenance of social peace and national cohesion in the name of Jesus Christ.
316. We declare the proper distribution of the country’s revenues at the parliamentary level to promote all layers of the population in the name of Jesus Christ.
317. We declare that laws voted in parliament are inspired by the word of God in the name of Jesus Christ.
318. We declare parliamentary controls without exception of persons in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare parliament’s support for any law project taking into account all layers of the population in the name of Jesus Christ.
319. We declare that parliamentary laws promote the development of all provinces of the country in the name of Jesus Christ.
320. We declare that parliamentary laws take into account the education of the youth in the name of Jesus Christ.
321. We declare the failure of voting for laws that do not consider the general interest of the country in the name of Jesus Christ.
