Character is defined by the LAROUSSE dictionary as the set of consistent emotional dispositions through which an individual reacts to their environment and which make up their personality. It is the way a person typically responds in a given situation. A young woman should strive to be someone pleasant to live with, someone who respects herself and others, whether they are older or younger.

This should not be done to please others but for her own balance. She must develop her emotional intelligence, learning to manage negative emotions such as anger, bitterness, betrayal, etc.

No one would want to have a mother, sister, wife, daughter, or daughter-in-law who is unpleasant, arrogant, rude, who doesn’t listen to others, who is disrespectful to everyone, and who shows no consideration for anyone. You must learn good manners and, above all, educate yourself on how to live in society. All of this contributes to a balanced family and social life. You must be helpful.

This quality is what led to Rebecca being chosen as Isaac’s wife, as she hurried to give water to her future husband’s servant and his camels, which can drink about 100 liters in a few minutes. Unfortunately, the Bible does not specify how many camels there were (Genesis 24:46).

You must develop virtues such as honesty to be someone worthy of trust. There is nothing more unpleasant than a dishonest young woman…
