John Lake exercised a rather extraordinary apostolic ministry. The exceptional number of healings and deliverances he obtained should not allow us to characterize his ministry as a “healing ministry.” His ministry went much deeper than that.

John Lake’s prayer life was not centered on himself or his own needs. Nor was it centered on manifesting the power of God. What he desired above all in his heart was to walk close to his God. He wanted to find out who the Lord really was in His greatness and magnificence, and what His perfect will was, to share with His beloved people.

John Lake longed to restore to the Church the full Lordship of Jesus Christ, and the full authority of His Word. He taught the full Gospel, and the Good News that Christ had purchased for us by His sacrifice full salvation for spirit, soul, and body. Physical healing was only one aspect of the restoration of human beings, created by God to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

He had understood what was really in the heart of God: to be able to dwell Himself in the heart of the man whom He had created. In the days of the patriarchs, God appeared to them and spoke to them. But these manifestations were episodic. Thereafter, God drew near again, and He dwelt in the midst of His people, Israel, in a tabernacle made with hands of men. But God was not yet satisfied. He sent Jesus, His, Son, to accomplish a work of redemption, salvation and restoration, so that God could finally come and dwell in us by His Spirit! And so that we can be completely transformed into the image of Jesus, His beloved Son! Glory to His Name!

This, among many others, John Lake understood, and this is what he tried to teach the Body of Christ, to edify it and enable it to respond to this divine call if big and so beautiful.

It is also this message that the Lord wants to restore in the midst of His Church, in these end times which are times when darkness is thickening. But God’s light continues to shine upon His true Church!

God calls all who call themselves His ministers, the elders of His flock, to restore this message to His Church, for it is the only message that will enable the Lord to prepare His Bride for His return. It is a message of full and entire consecration, it is a message of revelation of the profound will of God our Father and of His Son Jesus Christ, by His Spirit and His Word. It is a message of renunciation of the carnal self. It is a message of crucified life, so that resurrection life can manifest in our mortal body. It is a message of faith in the work of the Spirit to make us new creations in the likeness of Jesus. It is a message of perfection received by faith, until we have all come to the full knowledge of Jesus Christ and His Word, to the full measure of the stature of Christ!

This is the message of the Kingdom of God and His perfect justice!

Coming back quickly to the “healing chambers,” which we discussed in article A444, it is clear that God has entrusted Pastor Curry Blake with the responsibility to carry on John Lake’s ministry. Curry Blake has therefore been given the divine right to use the appellation “John G. Lake Ministries” and to restore healing chamber ministries. It is at the sovereign discretion of God.

Any different organization that would therefore attempt to invoke this filiation and this appellation would therefore demonstrate a lack of truth and integrity, which would not bear the seal of the action of the Holy Spirit.
