Marcello Jérémie TUNASI was converted in 1990 following an apparition of Jesus Christ.

He received his call to the ministry in 1996. In 1998, he became Senior Pastor of La Compassion church in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. In 2009, he founded the CREFM (Centre, d’Évangélisation, de Formation et de Mission) community, based on the values of Love, Holiness, Power and Balance in Jesus Christ, which now boasts some twenty Extensions.

He is passionate about new technologies, which he has put to good use in recent years to teach, preach and evangelize beyond the borders of the DRC and Africa.
Marcello Jérémie Tunasi is also Founder of Marcello Tunasi Ministries (MT), Noyau Compassion International (NCI), the Compassion School of Ministry, which trains missionaries, and the Compassion Orphanage.

Marcello Jérémie Tunasi’s pastoral ministry is complemented by his work as a composer and interpreter of numerous spiritual hymns, and as a director of plays with the HIS (humor, intelligence, wisdom) theater and film troupe.

Finally, this servant of God is the author and editor of several books. He is married to Blanche Odia KANDOLO, from whom he has three children.
