ONE OF THE GREATEST discoveries of the Abundant Life in Christ is learning how to sow money into God’s work by becoming His partner, to carry the Gospel to those who have not yet heard it.

Paul said: If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation… We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors.” (2 Cor. 5:17–20)

Jesus clearly said: “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” (Matt. 4:19)

He said: This Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations. (Matt. 24:14) That gives you a blank check to share the Gospel in your world. According to Jesus, the Good News must first be preached to all nations. (Mark 13:10)

Here are His final instructions: Go into all the world and preach the Good News to all creation. (Mark 16:15)

When Christ promised that all believers—men and women—would receive the power of the Holy Spirit, it was to accomplish this very task. Jesus said: You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be My witnesses… to the ends of the earth. (Acts 1:8)

Our motto will always be: “ONE WAY – ONE TASK.
THE ONLY WAY IS JESUS. THE ONLY TASK IS EVANGELISM.”

The highest joy of every Christian is to share the Gospel with every creature. God loved the whole world. Jesus died for the whole world. Our greatest opportunity for success in life is to communicate the Good News to the entire world. Jesus said: “Go into all the world.”

So every Christian can either go or send the Gospel to others—or do both if possible. The apostle Paul summarized the Christian’s mission this way:

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. But how can they call on Him if they have not believed in Him? And how can they believe if they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? (Rom. 10:13–15)

That is the essence of the Christian life. We are saved to save others. Other Christians made sacrifices to bring the Gospel to us. Now we have the privilege of sharing it with others—either by going, by sending the Good News, or both.

I will never forget the day God placed it in my heart to share Christ’s message with others. I was just a young boy on a small family farm, and no one would have thought me qualified to represent God.

If someone had told me to reach people in Tokyo, Paris, or Bombay, they might as well have said Jupiter, Mars, or Venus. Those cities felt like other planets to me.

But I believed the Bible. I believed in prayer. I believed in miracles. And God did the rest. For decades now, we have been winning souls through massive outreaches in nearly every nation on earth.

For many years, we supported up to 2,000 national preachers each month, serving as full-time missionaries in unreached regions. Year after year, we published over a ton of literature per day, in 132 languages.

We produced documentaries of our mass crusades in over 70 languages and provided them free of charge to national leaders in dozens of countries for global evangelism and media broadcasting.

We also produced and distributed our recorded messages in 70 languages to global missions and national churches and gave them thousands of devices to play those recordings—all free of charge.

We sent out over 100 motorized units to evangelize the unreached—on top of our mass evangelistic crusades around the world.

Who could have imagined that my wife and I would be chosen by God for a global ministry? It happened because we believed that sharing Christ’s message is the work closest to God’s heart. We believe that He blesses every Christian who takes part in this ministry with His prosperity. That’s why it’s so important for believers to realize that God wants to bless them materially as well as spiritually.

The enemy will oppose every biblical truth on this subject because it poses the greatest threat to his kingdom of darkness. As long as Christians stay in poverty and glorify God by thinking that this humble state is for their good, to keep them submissive and sanctified, the Gospel will never be preached to all creation. And since Christ cannot return until that happens (Matt. 24:14), Satan will continue his reign unchallenged in this world. (John 12:31; 14:30; Eph. 6:12)

Once you learn to invest money into the fertile ground of God’s work—and understand that He will return it to you multiplied according to His promise—you will marvel at how God blesses you materially.

Your life will become productive in His work as you discover the abundance He has destined for you.

Remember that you become His financial partner and that He wants to entrust you with His wealth to accomplish His work. It’s a constant interaction between giving and receiving.

When you invest your money into the Lord’s work, it’s like a seed planted in good soil. Just as a seed produces more of what was sown, so too does money sown into God’s work yield more.

As Jesus said, A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. (Luke 6:38) That’s abundant return.

Before reaping, a farmer must sow. The only seed that can return multiplied is the seed that’s planted. The same is true of God’s law of giving and receiving. Only money sown into God’s work can return multiplied.

Imagine a farmer gathering his family and complaining: “Why is God asking me to give this good seed to the ground? Can’t He see my family needs it for food? I’ll feed my children first. If anything is left, we’ll believe for a miracle harvest. God can give us a crop without planting, because He knows we need it.”

But God won’t do that. He has ordained that there will be no harvest unless the seed is planted.

To succeed, a farmer sets aside the best seed—the firstfruits—to return to the soil. In return, the soil yields a harvest of the same kind of seed he planted. His barns are filled with abundance. (Prov. 3:9–10) So he has even more to sow—in larger fields.

The principle of giving, taught by Jesus (Luke 6:38), surpasses the Old Testament tithe law. (Lev. 27:30) Giving is the New Testament way of life. (Mark 10:29–30) For a Christian, it’s as natural as breathing.

You give your time, your talents, your energy, your body, your mind, and your money—your whole life. The more you give, the more you receive; but giving always comes first.

By tithing, you return to God a tenth of your income after having received ten-tenths from Him. You do it to pay a debt, recognizing that the tenth belongs to Him. You discharge that obligation by returning the tithe due to Him. (Mal. 3:8) It’s a thanksgiving offering, but you only give it after receiving ten-tenths.

But when you sow your finances into God’s work, you’re investing in His unbreakable covenant that guarantees multiplied returns. Giving always comes first. This way, giving becomes an expression of our faith in God, put into action to fulfill His plan for the good of humanity…
