Your Personal Revival Will Transform Dead Spirits.
As human beings, we must truly realize that we are spiritual beings. A human who does not understand their nature will disregard their eternity. A spirit is eternal—it has no end. Understanding that our spirit’s life never ends also helps us understand that we must take care of it.
Since our spirit has no end, you must know where it will go when it leaves your body. As for me, I have entrusted my spirit to Jesus Christ, and my destiny is an extraordinary, ineffable eternity in the glorious presence of God.
Whoever gives their life to Jesus Christ will see their spirit recreated by the power of God. The Bible says that at that moment, God transfers us from the power of darkness into His marvelous light, from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God. Our eternal destiny is then secured in Him.
If non-Christians could understand that they are spiritual beings, and that their spirit—who they truly are—will never die, they would ask themselves questions and come much more easily to God. Let us pray that our family, our circle, and those who are not saved receive a supernatural revelation of their eternity so that a deep anguish grips them until they cry out to God for the redemption of their souls.
In many revivals—if not all—men and women who had no regard for eternity or for God received such a revelation and were seized with an indescribable anguish. Some resisted and could not sleep for days, crying and agonizing under the weight of the conviction of sin. When such a revelation enters a person’s life, the prayers that brought that revelation also bring the conviction of sin into that person’s heart.
I believe in such revelation. I believe that your prayer—yes, you reading this reflection—can create this revelation and conviction of sin in the lives of those you love.
In these revivals (and it doesn’t take a revival to see such manifestations! Don’t deceive yourself with false reasoning!), people would run to the church to be saved. Often, they would interrupt the preacher’s message by screaming and begging for someone to pray for their salvation. Some looked like “living dead” because they had resisted this conviction of sin for several days, and finally came to give their lives to the Lord, becoming children of God.
The fact that my church, my city, my region, or my country is not experiencing a revival does not mean I cannot live a personal revival and see the lives of those around me completely transformed by the power of God. I am convinced that if you pray with faith, perseverance, and trust in God, such things will manifest around you—if only you give your life for lost souls.
I tell you, if you pray for souls with perseverance, love, and faith, you will see the Glory of the Lord. Your fruit will multiply, and God will bring into your life people who are thirsty for Him. Yes, God Himself will send people to you—even into your home—people who are desperately seeking Him. They will seek God, find you, and through the supernatural power God has placed in you, they will find the Lord as you preach the Gospel to them.
God said, “I set before you life and death. Choose life so that you may live,” and we can also say: “He has set before us life and death for the souls around us.” Through your fire—or your silence—people will find either death or life. It will be done according to your faith!
