The Bible is nothing other than the Word of God, or even the Thought of God expressed. Now, God is no greater than His Word. Moreover, He stands behind His Word to ensure its fulfillment. It is known that outside of God, nothing is eternal. However, Jesus says, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” Therefore, it is an eternal Word. And if It is eternal, It can only be God. We understand that God and His Word are ONE.

This Word is Jesus Christ revealed. Not the letter, for the letter kills. But it is the Spirit of the revelation of Jesus Christ that gives life. To emphasize, it is mentioned: “For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit” (2 Peter 1:21). They were, indeed, led by the Spirit of God to express or write God’s secret Thought recorded in this book that extends from Genesis to Revelation.

It is the only book in the world capable of accurately describing the beginning of humanity with the existence of Man on earth, which was not at all the result of a process of material evolution, as science claims, but of creation, which implies a Creator. It has predicted events until the end of the destruction of humanity, some of which are confirmed by science. In this regard, we can mention:

• The birth of Jesus

It was predicted by the prophets, among whom was Isaiah. Jesus, a key figure whose birth, according to science, serves as a reference point for the calendar, suggesting that every event be referenced to year zero, the year of the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, by referencing the year of each event with that of the Lord’s birth (Before Christ or Anno Domini).

By this simple fact, science acknowledges, without saying it, how important this figure is to serve as a reference to time. It thus seems more evident that this figure is greater than time. Year zero must be understood as the infinite year. And it is also clear that in the year zero, he was not the only child born. But why does science only remember him? While it is clear that he apparently had nothing to attract the attention of people of his generation. Rejected by innkeepers, he will be born in a stable, and as the Bible so well depicted:

“He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces, he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:2-5)

He had to be none other than the Master of time and circumstances.

• The enslavement of the Jews in Egypt was predicted

God announced to Abraham the slavery of his descendants in Egypt for a duration of four hundred years. He would then raise up a liberator among their brethren. And this happened according to the “Thus says the Lord,” by the hand of a great prophet, Moses. Even science confirms this version of events.

• The seventy-year captivity in Babylon

Jeremiah prophesied against Israel seventy years of captivity in Babylon. And Daniel, at the height of the misery of his people, discovered through reading the books of the prophets that seventy years had to elapse to stop the iniquity of the people.

• The subjection of Esau by Jacob

While the twins Esau and Jacob were not yet born, God predicted that the younger would subdue the elder. And it happened in accordance with the “Thus says the Lord.“

• God promised Abraham a son, Isaac

While their breasts were worn out, God promised Abraham that the following year at the same time, his barren wife, Sarah, would bear a son. And it happened.

• God always reveals His plans to His children

Does disaster come to a city without the Lord having caused it without revealing it to His servants, the prophets? Thus, when He wanted to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, God said to Himself, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do?” (Genesis 18:17)

So it was almost impossible for God not to reveal His plan to Abraham. He always reveals His plans to His beloved children who wait for Him. God says, “Have I not already written for you advice and reflections?” (Proverbs 22:20)

He says, “If you believe, you will see the glory of God.” He also says, “Nothing is impossible for God, and everything is possible for him who believes.“
