I understand that animals can eat animals, but I never knew that years could also devour other years. Pay close attention now! Seven years of abundance will be devoured by seven years of famine, to the point where one can no longer imagine that abundance ever existed.

This is a very powerful mystery. Please, stay focused.
Genesis 41:29–36
There will be seven years of great abundance throughout the land of Egypt. Seven years of famine will follow them, and all the abundance in Egypt will be forgotten, and the famine will ravage the land. The famine that follows will be so severe that the abundance will no longer be remembered in the land.

If Pharaoh saw the dream twice, it means that the matter has been firmly decided by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.
Now let Pharaoh select a man who is discerning and wise and set him over the land of Egypt. Let Pharaoh appoint commissioners over the land to take a fifth of the harvest during the seven years of abundance. Let them gather all the food of these good years that are coming and store up grain under Pharaoh’s authority, to be kept in the cities for food.

This food should be held in reserve for the country, to be used during the seven years of famine that will come upon Egypt, so that the land may not perish in the famine.

Pharaoh is receiving counsel from a young man upon whom the Spirit of God rests. He is sharing a mystery. He says:
“Pharaoh, no matter your power, no matter the might of Egypt, God is revealing to you that there is a law — the law of seasons — by which things will change. This has nothing to do with your goodness or your wickedness. It is the law of seasons.”

“No matter your power, authority, kindness, generosity, ethnicity, or social class, you cannot escape the law of seasons.”
And in the life of every man, born again or not, this law is not something you can pray against. It is established.
Pharaoh, what you have seen is not just a dream about Egypt — it is a mystery that God has given to mankind.

The law of seasons applies to every person born of a woman. Therefore, remember that there will always be seasons of abundance, represented by the fat cows, and there will always be seasons of drought in every person’s life.

From today on, the difference you will make depends on your attitude toward Joseph’s advice.
Look around you — those who disobeyed Joseph are about to pay the price with their entire lives, because years can devour years.
Are you blessed by what you’re reading?

Through his solution, Joseph was telling Pharaoh that this is not about praying for God to change the outcome. This is how it is set.
Let me tell you this: when God created the earth, He made the stars to mark times and seasons.
The law of seasons is a very powerful law, and many believers have never been taught about it. As a result, many innocent and well-meaning people have paid the price simply because they did not know how to discern times and seasons.

Our opening verse said there is a time for everything. Then it listed many things. But the common factor among all these things is that there is a time — a moment or a season — for each one. Hallelujah!

Pharaoh, famine is about to strike the earth. Famine is coming!
But you are fortunate — there is a season that can preserve you.

Here in Africa, and especially in West Africa, we have the rainy season and the dry season. These two seasons have their own distinct characteristics.

For example, during the rainy season — whether you are rich or poor, educated or uneducated — as soon as the rains begin, there are certain things that the earth grants you simply because of the season.
During this time, the soil is soft and easy to cultivate; you don’t need to work as hard because the rain has already done part of the job for you.

Thus, the rainy season brings the advantage of a mild climate.
You don’t have to fight against dust, because the season itself purifies the air.
But once that season ends, we move into another.
And we begin to feel as if water had never touched the ground. Isn’t that true?

You’ll see cracks in the soil. The pastures that were once green become yellow and dry, and it seems as though water never touched the land.
The sky becomes so clear that when you go out at night, you can see the stars clearly.

It’s not that something has changed in your eyes — it’s simply that the season allows it.
Yes, it’s still possible to farm during the dry season, but you’ll have to find a way to channel water to the field in order to simulate a rainy season, so the plants can grow. This is very important.

During the dry season, you might get away with neglecting your car.
Your windshield wipers don’t work, your headlights are broken — you might overlook it all.
You might keep worn-out tires and play all kinds of risky games.
But when the rainy season comes, one night you’ll go out, and with no warning, a torrential rain will fall — and you’ll see the consequences of having faulty wipers. Isn’t that true?

You might not realize how wrong you are in the dry season, but another season can reveal whether you were right or wrong.

Seasons matter.

There are many things you can do wrong, but just because you haven’t yet entered the season that exposes your mistake doesn’t mean you are right.
You might think you’ve been right for years — until the seasons change.
There are times when you do what is right and still feel foolish — only because the season to reveal your wisdom hasn’t come yet.

There was a time when Noah’s wisdom looked like foolishness — because the season of rain, the flood, had not yet arrived. Isn’t that true?

Yes — he kept putting animals into the ark, and others mocked him saying, “What is all this for?”
But a season was coming.

Pharaoh, what you saw is a mystery that happens to every man, no matter your level of anointing.

No church, no politician, no government, no nation has a season that lasts forever.
The changing of seasons is part of the law of seasons, and all people must understand this.
I teach this message with a heart full of passion and sincerity — without sarcasm or judgment.

Have you seen people who maximized a certain season in their life?
But they forgot that the seasons would change.
They ignored Joseph’s advice — until the season changed.

This is very common among politicians.
It is a terrible thing to remain irrelevant your entire life.
It happens to men of God. It happens within families.

Remember! Seasons change.

There are politicians today who were once honored instruments, but because they failed to discern the seasons, they fell.
There are sincere men of God — they didn’t backslide — but they neglected the seasons, and today they’ve been reduced to nothing.

Advice:
The dream Pharaoh had was deliverance.
It is a mystery that will save you — if you understand it.
