There are various harmful effects that can help you identify a malevolent sentimental decree:

• Being virtually invisible to the opposite sex (acute sentimental blockage);
• Leaving the parental home only to return shortly after, without any valid reason;
• Starting the first stage of marriage—such as paying the bride price or even having a child—only to end up being sent back to your parents with your child(ren);
• Having the strong impression that going to the city hall for a civil wedding is like violating an ancestral taboo. All the forces of failure seem to invade your home, which inevitably dissolves;
• Reaching a second, third, fourth, or even countless bride prices without ever progressing beyond that stage;
• Getting married, divorcing, remarrying, and divorcing again. Even when you are married, you are convinced you made a mistake and feel the urge to flee the marriage;
• Having no desire to get married, even feeling a deep aversion to the idea of marriage;
• Resigning yourself to singleness, deciding to remain in that state, and eventually becoming comfortable with it…
