“You have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You are cast down to the ground, you who laid low the nations!” Isaiah 14:12. (Also, meditate on Genesis 3:1-24).

In everything you do, never lend an ear to the devil.

Together, we will examine the enemies of the family and how we can stop them and reclaim everything they have stolen from us as families.

God had good intentions when He established the family institution for the smooth functioning of things here on earth to fulfill His eternal divine agenda for man. It was not God’s plan for man to undergo suffering in trying to live and work to fulfill his divine role on earth. However, Satan, the enemy of humanity, came and thwarted this beautiful plan, albeit with the cooperation of man, consciously or unconsciously.

A thorough study of the Word of God reveals that anyone who desires to maintain a family that pleases God and goes to heaven must beware of the devil. He deceived man to disobey God, and man fell out with his Creator, marking the beginning of man’s troubles (Genesis 3:1-6). His primary mission is to derail families to thwart God’s will for man. His program of stealing, killing, and destroying is carried out through people. And where do people come from? They come from families; they are members of one family or another in different parts of the world.

How does the devil operate and unleash terror against families? He infiltrates the hearts of family members to sow the seeds of disobedience, rebellion, hatred, discord, betrayal, murder, conflicts, disunity, etc. With this, he pits parents and children against each other, causes sibling rivalries, and puts the family in disarray.

The devil drove Cain to kill Abel. He filled Amnon with desire, led him to commit incest with Tamar, his half-sister, and filled Absalom with rage that led to the murder of Amnon. He also made Absalom so ambitious that he planned a coup to seize his father David’s throne.

Clearly, the devil is the number one enemy of the family institution. Any family that wants to fulfill God’s divine purpose must be determined to resist the devil in every possible way. To actualize God’s 18 programs for your family, you must not yield an inch to Satan.

Today, receive the power to resist the devil, and he will flee from you, in the name of Jesus. PRAYER POINTS

1. I will not bring trouble to my family, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every power that keeps my family away from God’s presence, die, in the name of Jesus.
3. My family will not miss heaven, in the name of Jesus.
4. Every Goliath assigned against my family, die, in the name of Jesus.
5. Every Herod assigned against my family, die, in the name of Jesus.
6. Every Pharaoh assigned against my family, die, in the name of Jesus.
7. Every agent of darkness assigned against my family, die, in the name of Jesus.
