Let the wise pay attention to these things, and let them be attentive to the Goodness of the Lord. Psalms 107:43

To hear, see, and understand what a being does, one must be of its kind and understand its language. You can see a dog moving around in all directions without understanding what it’s doing. You can hear and observe an Arab, a Chinese, a Beninese, or any other person from a different people without understanding them because you don’t speak their language.

In the same way, the disciples in their time, and most of us today, look at miracles without seeing them, without hearing or understanding them (Mark 8:14-18).

God acts all the time, in your life and around you. Jesus said in John 5:17, “My Father is always at his work.” Every day there are actions of God, graces that He releases on the earth and in your life: these are the “Goodness of God.” The prophet Jeremiah says that they are renewed every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

Benevolence is the character of God in you that allows you to discern His Goodness and operate with it. One whose language you don’t understand may send you words of love, but they will make no sense to you. Similarly, you cannot hear or see all the Goodness of God for you if you do not manifest Benevolence. Just as language develops with growth, you must let Benevolence grow in you to understand and see what God is doing.

Seeing and walking in the Goodness of God makes all the difference in life. All the prophets and the entirety of scriptures speak of the importance and power of the Goodness of God.

When you walk in the Goodness of God, you can be assured that:

  • Every time you go through difficult times, God sends one or more Goodness to lift you up and give you victory. “When I said, ‘My foot is slipping,’ your unfailing love, Lord, supported me” (Psalms 94:18).
  • His Goodness consoles you. Psalms 119:76 says, “May your unfailing love be my comfort…”
  • His Goodness gives you wisdom. Psalms 107:43 asserts: “Let the one who is wise heed these things and ponder the loving deeds of the Lord.”
  • His Goodness teaches you, as stated in Psalms 119:124: “Deal with your servant according to your goodness, Lord, and teach me your decrees!”
  • His Goodness gives you back life. “Consider how I love your precepts, Lord! Give me life, according to your unfailing love!” (Psalms 119:159).
  • His Goodness helps you. Psalms 109:26: “Help me, Lord, my God! Save me according to your unfailing love!” (Psalms 44:27).
  • His Goodness makes your voice heard in heaven. Psalms 119 : 149 says, “Hear my voice in accordance with your love; preserve my life, Lord, according to your laws.”
  • His Goodness gives you the strength to do His Will. “Give me life according to your unfailing love, so that I may obey the statutes of your mouth!” (Psalms 119 : 88).
  • His Goodness is better than life, Psalms 63 : 4: “For your love is better than life: my lips will glorify you.”
  • And more…

Benevolence (Chrestotes)

My prayer, through this work, is that God shows you His Goodness to save you. “Lord, show us your kindness and grant us your salvation!” Psalms 85:8

Benevolence is the common language between God and you, it’s the eyes, the ears that allow you to see, hear, and receive the graces that God sends you.

  • Above all, do not underestimate the Goodness of God. Romans 2:4: “Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness (Chrestotes), forbearance, and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness (Chrestotes) is intended to lead you to repentance?”
  • The Goodness of God is very rich: Ephesians 2:7: “in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness (Chrestotes) to us in Christ Jesus.”
  • Those who do not consider the Goodness of God may be cut off, says Romans 11:22 Manifest Benevolence, and you will receive the Goodness of God.

I read my Bible in 1 year: Deuteronomy 18; Psalm 105; Isaiah 45
