Liberty Savard, Redding, California – Liberty Sharon Savard passed away on February 8, 2022 in Redding, California at Copper Ridge Retirement home. She was a trooper and fighter since moving from Sacramento to Redding a few years back to be with family. Liberty was born in 1941 in Westwood, California to William and Betty Savercool and was an only child. She graduated from Enterprise High School in Redding in 1958 and was the Hornet Mascot which she took great pride in. She married Jack Savard, October, 20, 1962 and had three children, Rusty, Jyl and Becca Savard. Liberty is also survived by her daughter-in-law Teresa, her grandson Christopher and his wife Bailey and great grandchildren Remi and Jackson. The loves of her life were God, her family and her cat, Cali, who now resides with her cousin Judi Jensen in Yuba City. Liberty loved to paint and sing as well.
Liberty was the prominent business owner of Hoot ‘n Boots, a women’s shoe store that was founded in the 70’s, located in Cypress Square. It was a family affair and both Jyl and Becca worked there for many years, even after Liberty passed the store onto her mother, Betty. The store was well known for selling size 4 all the way up to size 12, the only store in town to do so!
Liberty was completely devoted to her passion of Liberty Savard Ministries. She touched many people in many ways. She wrote many books which are revered all over the world and traveled the globe with her ministries.
