Simiane Brahy TATU

Simiane Brahy, known by her stage name “Simiane Music”, is a French gospel artist and social media star with over 400,000 followers on Instagram. Although she is based in France, she is a big celebrity in Africa thanks to her gospel music and African accent.

Born on May 15, 1997 in Istres, southern France, Simiane grew up in a Christian family of four children with pastor parents. In April 2022, she married Congolese Prophet Joël Francis Tatu, visionary of the Porte du Ciel church, and was nicknamed “Semeki Nationale” (National Sister-in-law) by Congolese Internet users.

Simiane speaks English and French fluently and is proficient in several African dialects, in which she has sung in Ghana, Benin and the Democratic Republic of Congo. In addition to her voice, she also plays the piano, which she often uses to lead worship.

Simiane is signed to the Dorhema label and has traveled to over 30 countries as a worship leader. She revealed her singing talents at the age of five. Involved in serving God since childhood, she was baptized at age 10 and remains a member of La Porte de la Reconciliation Church.

After interrupting his law studies to devote himself fully to gospel music, Simiane became known for his poetic talent, his powerful voice and his love for gospel music. She is notable for her ability to sing in a variety of African languages ​​and collaborate with African artists.

In 2019, she released her first album entitled “Les ciels sont Ouverts”, followed by a single entitled “Your Light” in collaboration with JoBeatz and NBM. In 2021, she returns with her second album “Who can dethrone you”. Simiane has shared the biggest Nigerian stages with renowned gospel artists and collaborated with important figures of Congolese Christian music such as El Georges, Sonia Meïra and Dena Mwana.

Marriage with Pastor Joël Francis Tatu

Four years after his divorce from Selena Texeira, Congolese Prophet Joël Francis Tatu married Simiane in Paris. Their marriage, preceded by the formalization of their relationship and the payment of the dowry, was blessed by Archbishop Nicholas Ducan Williams on April 9, 2022 in Accra, Ghana. The announcement of their union sparked many reactions on social networks, ranging from congratulations to parody.
