Proclaiming Is Repeating the Word Without Ceasing.

Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Joshua 1:8 (Parole de Vie)

Do you find it difficult to repeat a word or a phrase? Do you need to solve a math problem before you can repeat something? The Bible says to repeat the teachings of the Book of the Law without ceasing and to meditate on them day and night. In other words, don’t get tired of it. God said to repeat, so repeat—without overthinking or reasoning. What is complicated about this instruction?

God opened my eyes to this key that I am sharing with you at a time when I was going through the worst moments I had experienced since coming to Christ.

It was when my wife and I were walking through the valley of the shadow of death. People saw her losing weight and asked her what diet she had followed because, in their eyes, it was effective. But the reality was entirely different; it was not a diet, but a difficult trial. It is how the Holy Spirit led us through this challenge—something that later became clear in my mind—that I am sharing with you in these lines.

Repeating without ceasing means saying what God has said, adding nothing and removing nothing. Why are we told to repeat? When I asked this question to the Holy Spirit, He answered: When you were in school and misbehaved, the teacher would punish you by making you write 500 times: I will not misbehave behind the teacher’s back. After repeating this over and over, even when I wanted to misbehave again, I would naturally hear myself saying: I will not misbehave behind the teacher’s back,” until the day I finally stopped misbehaving altogether.

This is the same principle I am sharing with you. By constantly repeating what God says, by saying it day and night, you will strive to obey everything that is written. Understand then that repetition will give you the strength to do what God asks of you. Is this a new revelation to you? No! Are you doing it? No! Will you do it now? I hope so!

I am not asking you to repeat just anything, without wisdom or intelligence. No! I am telling you to grasp and take ownership of the words you hear from God—sometimes through teachings, reading, meditation on the Word, or even through an inspired song… It could be just one word or a phrase that deeply resonates in your heart. You will say to yourself: Yes! This Word is for me, it concerns me!

You must write it down so you can repeat it constantly, day and night. Your inner being has drawn your attention to it because, in the area where you are facing challenges, you have not yet taken possession of your inheritance. The key you need to overcome is that particular word—not any other.

Take that word, repeat it so that your inner being is strengthened, conditioned, and aligned with what you proclaim. This repeated proclamation of God’s Word programs and reprograms things in your subconscious; thus, your brain can communicate positively to your body and soul what it receives from your spirit.

It is not enough to simply say “amen” Sunday after Sunday, to get excited and say, “I need to download the teaching to listen to it again,” only to never do it. The key God has given you to get out of the situation where you’ve been stuck for years—you have let it slip away.

The Roman centurion said: “Just say the word.” He knew that a single word was enough for his servant to be healed. Yet he was not a Christian, not even part of the new creation.

God’s will is for His children to reign, to dominate, and to do exploits. This should be our norm, our natural way of living—effortlessly—because we are conditioned and shaped by God to do great things…
