Fifamè Fidèle Houssou Gandonou was born on April 23, 1974, in Cotonou, Benin. She is a theologian and pastor in the Protestant Methodist Church of Benin (EPMB) since 1998. In 2014, she earned her Ph.D. in theology from the Protestant University of Central Africa, with a specialization in feminist ethics. Currently, she serves as a faculty member at the Protestant University of West Africa (UPAO).

Married and a mother of a son, Fifamè has a natural passion for homemaking but also enjoys reading, engaging in discussions, and, most importantly, communal living. While her nature is calm, she thrives on stimulation to showcase her potential. She pursued her theological studies in Porto-Novo, Benin, Yaoundé, Cameroon, and Paris, France. She is not only a pastor in the EPMB but also holds a doctoral degree in theology.

As a member of the Circle of Engaged African Theologians, Fifamè is dedicated to training trainers in group facilitation and Applied Biblical Studies. She serves as a parish pastor and teaches at the Protestant University of West Africa. Additionally, she currently holds the role of Regional Coordinator for the Food Security Campaign within the Association of Christian Councils and Churches in West Africa, headquartered in Lomé, Togo. Her profound interest in Tsena Malalaka stems from her passion for meaningful exchanges. It provides her with an opportunity to engage with fellow sisters and share experiences, particularly in the theological and other aspects of life.
