Born and raised in northern Côte d’Ivoire, Mamadou Sékongo witnessed the persecution, stigma, and poverty affecting Christians in his region. Later, while at university, he discovered the Good News and divine promises contained in Joshua 1:8 and Psalm 1.

Confronted with the contrast between these promises and the reality experienced by the believers he encountered, he became aware of the lack of true knowledge among his fellow believers.

Driven by deep conviction, he committed himself to allowing himself to be shaped by the Lord Jesus Christ, whatever the cost, so that he might be taught by the Lord and, in turn, be able to free his fellow believers from stigma.

Today, he is the founder of the Gospel & Prosperity community, whose mission is to share the Gospel with the unreached and provide social assistance to the needy. He is married and the father of two children.
