Excerpt from the book “Blessed Beyond Measure”.
The message contained in this book has been very dear to me for several years. I have noticed that many people have a bad conception of God; which prevents them from approaching Him and receiving what Jesus acquired for them through His death. This was my case for a while. Since then, I have discovered the truth and I am so happy about it! Now I want everyone to know her.
God loves every human being so much that He desires to show them His goodness. The Bible expresses this very clearly: “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son…”. Elsewhere it is said that God is love (1 John 4:8). Because of this great love, all who wish can receive the salvation, healing, deliverance, peace, blessings, and other benefits promised by God in His Word. In fact, understanding and accepting the goodness of God is the basis of our faith. This may be different from anything you have ever heard about God, but it is the truth.
The Bible reveals that the truth sets us free. You are about to discover the true nature of God and His deep desire to bless you. He has already made plans and made arrangements to achieve this goal. How can this wonderful news come true for you? Read on and remember that God is not angry with you. He loves you. It is good. If you understand it, your life will change!
Before starting to read this book, pray this prayer that Paul addressed to God for the Ephesians (in chapter 3, verses 16 to 21):
Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray that You will grant me, according to the riches of Your glory, to be established with strength by Your Spirit in my inner being so that Christ, the Anointed One, may dwell in my heart through faith. May I be established and rooted in love and may understand, realize and have profound knowledge, with all the saints, of the breadth, length, height and depth of the most extraordinary thing that can exist. Reveal to me Your love – the same love You have for Jesus – which surpasses all human understanding. Make this love known to me, Father, so that I may be filled with all the fullness of God because 1 Corinthians 13 says that love “never disappoints”!
To You, Father who is able to accomplish infinitely, abundantly, beyond all that I can ask or think, by the power that is already working in me – be all glory, in me and in the whole Church through Christ Jesus throughout all ages.
